Sheku & Isata Kanneh-Mason
The brilliant young cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason shot to fame after winning the BBC Young Musician of the Year contest in 2016. He now performs in concerts all over the world and on radio and television, and has made several highly-acclaimed recordings. He comes from a large and remarkably musical family and here performs with his sister Isata, a pianist who is now also in great demand as a soloist and chamber musician. Their programme features four substantial sonatas for cello and piano by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Chopin and Fauré.
