The Welsh soprano Elin Manahan Thomas specialises in baroque music. She pursues a successful solo career, taking major roles in opera and oratorio, and has also sung with many of the UK’s leading groups such as The Sixteen and the Gabrieli Consort. Elizabeth Kenny is widely regarded as one of Europe’s finest lute players. She has performed with many of the world’s leading period-instrument groups, as well as giving solo recitals and playing together with vocal colleagues. Their programme will include music by Dowland, Hildegard of Bingen, Handel and Purcell.
