Two years ago, the Dorking Concertgoers season began with an innovative concert of Indian classical music given by the sitar player Vijay Jagtap together with performers on the tabla and tanpura.

This was a spell-binding evening of music and an excellent opportunity to experience the art and traditions of a different and very rich culture. Vijay comes from a distinguished musical family and he has performed widely in concerts, as well as on television and radio.

He now returns to Dorking with his fellow musicians for a second concert which will surely be every bit as interesting and enjoyable as the first.

This concert forms part of the Mole Valley Arts Alive Festival.
